Generate images and SVG illustrations, remove backgrounds, inpaint, outpaint, upscale, create mockups and trace bitmaps to vectors.

Asset tools create or transform images and vectors. Use them from the AI panel, from the context toolbar on a selected image, or by asking the agent. Every result is saved to your library as a new asset — the original is never overwritten — with the provider, model and prompt recorded so you can regenerate or trace where it came from.
Generate image#
Describe the image and choose a size or aspect ratio. Desyn picks the best available image model for the job, including a model that renders legible text inside images when your prompt asks for lettering.

Generate SVG#
Creates vector illustrations, icons and patterns as editable SVG: "a minimal line icon of a kiln", "an abstract wave pattern in the brand colors". SVGs are sanitized before they are stored, and their colors can be remapped in the inspector afterwards.
Remove background#
Separates the subject from its background. The result is stored as a mask on the image, so the original pixels are kept and you can switch the mask off later. Depending on configuration it runs on the server with a dedicated segmentation model or directly in your browser.
Inpaint#
Paint over part of an image and describe what should be there instead — remove a stray object, change a color, add a detail. Everything outside the painted area stays the same.
Outpaint#
Extends an image beyond its edges: make a square photo fit a wide banner, or add room above a subject for a headline. Choose the new size; the model fills the new area to match.
Upscale#
Increases resolution by 2× or 4× while adding plausible detail — useful for print and for small images flagged as low resolution.
Mockups#
Places your design or an image into a realistic scene: a poster on a wall, a phone screen, a book cover, a mug or a business card on a desk. Pick a scene and a page; the mockup is generated as a new image you can use anywhere.
Trace to vector#
Converts a bitmap — a logo, a sketch, simple artwork — into vector paths with fills, so it scales cleanly and can be recolored and edited with the pen tool.
Video clips#
On installations with a video-capable provider, the agent can generate short video clips for video designs. This is the most expensive tool; check the cost below before using it at scale.

Usage rights#
Stock photos keep their source attribution. For generated media, the terms of the model provider apply; check them before commercial use. Prompts for generated media go through moderation, and requests for harmful content are refused.
