Brand kits
Store your colors, fonts, logos, tone of voice and rules once, then apply them to any design by hand or with the AI.
On this page
A brand kit is everything that makes your work recognizably yours, in one place:
- Colors — a named palette in order of importance (primary first).
- Fonts — which families to use for headings, subheadings, body and accents, including uploaded custom fonts.
- Logos — light and dark variants, marks and wordmarks.
- Voice — how your copy should sound, in a sentence or two ("warm, unhurried, never shouty").
- Rules — hard constraints the AI must respect ("never put the logo on a photo", "headlines in sentence case").
- Guidelines — an optional longer document; the AI reads it when it plans designs.
Brand kits are part of Pro (up to 10 per workspace) and unlimited when self-hosted.
Creating a kit#
Open Brand on the dashboard (or the Brand panel in the editor) and choose New brand kit. Fill it in by hand, or let Desyn extract it:
- From a design — pick a design you like; Desyn reads its palette, fonts and logo usage.
- From images or a PDF — upload a logo, a brand book or a few examples; the AI proposes colors, fonts and a voice that you review before saving.
Using a kit#
- In the editor, the Brand panel shows your kit's colors, text styles and logos. Click to apply, or drag a logo onto the page.
- A design can follow a kit. Its colors become variables such as
brand.primary, so switching the kit restyles every layer that uses them. - Ask the agent: "make this match my brand". It maps colors, fonts, logos and copy tone to the kit and changes only what is off-brand. See brand consistency.
- Workflows such as campaigns and template instantiation accept a brand kit, so everything they produce starts on-brand.
